VSS has integrated the components required to support off-grid lighting in a singularly elegant design, blending the bifacial solar panel, Li-ion battery storage and LED light engine into a form worthy of display in the most distinctive of communities. The patented linear, minimal wind loading array sets this structure apart from any existing solar lighting solutions available to date. Although its beauty distinguishes it, the processor-based solar controller complements its elegance.
Our lights all share a robust, microprocessor-based core coupled with a Mesh Network communications engine which allows simultaneous and configurable lightening operation and instantaneous fault notification. The processor core harvests all the available solar light using a MPPT charge algorithm and then stores it in a LifePro4 battery pack that is housed within the structure. This yields a service-life for over 3000+ charge cycles. That’s over 8 years without battery replacement!
Our standard LED Light Engine will provide up to 5,500 lumens of highly directional LED lighting. This output will easily achieve the candlepower of a conventional 400 Watt HID bulb with zero upward radiation available in a range of spread patterns.
